Swiss Startups Awards 2014
The Swiss Startups Awards will be held in Zurich on the 30th of October. This year the start-ups will compete for a total of CHF 200’000 prize money.
SWISS STARTUPS AWARDS 2014
AXA Winterthur, Axpo, PostFinance and STARTUPS.CH are looking for the best business ideas in Switzerland. All four awards offer seed capital of CHF 50’000. The closing date for applications is the 30th of June 2014. After that, the start-ups will compete in different rounds, depending on the award. The winners will be announced in Zurich at the Swiss Startups Awards on the 30th of October 2014.
AXA Innovation Award
AXA Winterthur is the leading insurance provider in Switzerland and consistently supports young entrepreneurs. For this reason, AXA Winterthur is looking for a revolutionary business idea, wrapped in a spotless business plan. Whoever offers the jury a high level of innovation and growth potential will be awarded the AXA Innovation Award.
Axpo Energy Award
For the second time in a row, Axpo will grant a start-up in the energy sector. The award will be given to an entrepreneur with a unique business idea, focusing on energy production, technology and transmission as well as electrical engineering.
PostFinance Digital Business Award
For the first time, PostFinance will be granting the Digital Business Award at the Swiss Startups Awards. Focusing on digital business start-ups, PostFinance will offer entrepreneurs the chance to develop their ideas for innovative business processes.
STARTUPS.CH Award
As official organizer of the event, STARTUPS.CH will be offering its STARTUPS.CH award for the fifth time in a row. The award will be granted to the start-up with the best business idea in the small business sector. Apart from the creative idea, the jury will look at the quality of the business plan and the presentation. The start-ups will also have to face an online-voting to pass through to the finals.
