Start-up “Aeon Scientific” finished funding successfully
Aeon Scientific finished their third funding round. They got 4.3 million CHF together to continue to develop of their Aeon Phocus.

Zurich based Start-up Aeon Scientific was founded in 2010 as an ETH spin-off. Previously, also in 2010, the company won the national STARTUPS.CH Award and received CHF 50,000 in Start-up capital. Since then the company has developed its med-tech product ideas. The Start-up now closed its third financing round, which only was open to existing investors. They collected 4.3 million CHF. The money will be invested to complete and clinically implement the Aeon Phocus. The Aeon Phocus is a complex control unit for cardiac catheterization so that cardiac arrhythmias can be treated. The catheter can be controlled with a patented magnetic technology and therefor effortlessly allows getting to all four-heart chambers. A separate operating unit, thus protecting the doctors from X-rays, carries out the control.
Aeon Scientific moved their offices in 2013 from Zurich to Schlieren where they have more space for development laboratories.
