From unemployed to successful entrepreneur
A new study from Professor Marc Gruber at the ETH Lausanne came out with some interesting results about entrepreneurs.
Purpose of this study was to measure the success of businesses that were started as a result of someone’s unemployment. The study found that 88% of such businesses still existed 3 years after their initial launch. In addition, on average the entrepreneurs and founders of these companies had created 2.2 new jobs within a period of 3 years.
