(Placard) signs for your Advertising Campaigns

Flyeralarm's Custom Panels

Not all signs are the same: there are decorative signs, company signs, information signs, signposts… And the right material for every type of sign.

Whether you’re walking through the town centre or driving through an industrial estate: company signs adorn pretty much every façade behind which business premises, retail space or offices are located. That’s logical, because the easiest way to make your business recognisable as such from the outside is with professional and clearly visible advertising signs. Nowadays, these can be produced in a wide variety of formats from numerous materials using digital printing processes. In the past, printed vinyl films had to be laboriously glued to the backing material, but today signs can be printed directly and photo-realistically. This saves time and reduces production costs, opening up numerous new possibilities for advertising signs, far beyond the usual façade sign.

Company signs for outdoor use

Especially in outdoor areas, it is important to choose signs made of weather-resistant materials. Aluminium composite panels are ideal for company or doorbell signs, signposts or construction site signs. They consist of a robust polyethylene core that is encased in aluminium sheets on both sides. This makes the panels very light and, at the same time, corrosion-resistant and durable. The aluminium composite panels are printed with UV ink – which is convenient, as this means that not only the sign, but also your print, will last a particularly long time.

Tips for sign design in outdoor areas

In outdoor areas, signs must be easily noticeable when driving or walking past. You should therefore dispense with detailed explanations and intricate designs. For example, the message “20% off pet food at Zoohandlung Müller” is more quickly absorbed than “You receive a 20% discount on our entire range of pet food. Your team from Zoohandlung Müller”. Pay attention to the following points on your company or construction site signs and signposts:

  • Clear layouts
  • Short, concise statements
  • Large font size
  • Unfancy fonts
  • High colour contrasts

Decorative signs for indoor use

The ultimate in decorative indoor signs is direct printing behind glass. Whether for a fashion boutique, photo studio or hairdressing salon: anyone who values an attractive, high-quality interior design for their business premises is well advised to use printed glass. Your motif is printed on the back of glass panels and then backed with a white sealing layer. This gives your motif an image depth and colour brilliance that is second to none. A more robust, weight-saving variant is direct printing behind acrylic glass.

Would you like to brighten up your trade fair stand with appealing image or product photos? Hard foam panels are suitable for this: they are ultra-light and can be attached easily to (exhibition) walls with double-sided adhesive tape. What’s more, these panels have particularly low-reflection surfaces – so photographs are easy to recognise even in unfavourable lighting conditions. Alternatively, you can also use KAPA®plast soft foam sheets. They are even lighter than rigid foam panels, albeit somewhat bulkier.

More advertising space needed?

Do you need more advertising space? And do you want your message to be emblazoned on fences, scaffolding or barriers? Then tarpaulins and banners are ideal. They are available in numerous designs, guaranteed to suit your intended use. Roll-ups are another alternative for exhibition stands or sales rooms. They are mobile, easy to clean, and can be transported in a space-saving manner.
