Even more startups: Significant growth in new registrations in the first half 2016

In the first half 2016, a total of 21,153 business types were registered in the Swiss commercial register. This amounts to 2.01 % more registrations than in the first semester of 2015. These figures come from the results of the latest survey by STARTUPS.CH, the Swiss specialists in online business start-ups. more

Commercial register entries in May 2016: more organisations founded than last year

In Switzerland, a total of 3,193 new companies were entered into the commercial register in May 2016. This is a 5.6% increase compared to last year. However, the number of new company registrations dropped by 9.55% in comparison with April 2016.   more

Commercial Register entries is strong in April 2016

Commercial Register new entries in April 2016 show strong growth of 3.6% compared to the same period for the previous year. In total, 3,530 companies were entered into the Commercial Register. April saw a decline of 2.3% in comparison with a strong start-up month of March.  more
