Cybersecurity in Bern<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Swiss startup Threatray is a spin-off of the Bern University of\nApplied Sciences. It was founded in 2018 by Endre Bangerter (CEO) and Jonas\nWagner (CTO). In 2020 the young company successfully launched a\nsoftware-as-a-service (SaaS) product for data-based security analytics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insights into malware attacks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Threatray\u2019s malware intelligence platform provides corporate and government security teams with deeper insights into attempted and ongoing malware attacks. The platform is highly data-driven, allowing users to collect and analyze data as well as launch effective cyber defense mechanisms. At the core of Threatray\u2019s software are novel search algorithms that find relationships between ongoing and historical attacks, which are invisible to traditional technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.3 million CHF Seed 2 Round<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In a seed 2 round the Bernese startup recently secured 2.3 million CHF in\nfunding. In addition to the existing investors Hammer Team, Swiss CT Investor\nClub, BackBone Ventures and the Schwyzer Kantonalbank Innovation Foundation the\nventure capital firm Verve Ventures participated in the financing round.\nThreatry plans to use the newly received funds to further its strategic growth\nand expand its team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
