Starting a sole proprietorship in Switzerland, but living abroad

Are you an entrepreneur living abroad?

Residing in Switzerland is not a prerequisite to start a sole proprietorship, meaning that people abroad can have a Swiss company. Owning or renting a domicile in Switzerland should principally be sufficient when living abroad. STARTUPS.CH in cooperation with GRONERLAW and MAF Consulting Group AG offer you professional domicile and facility services multiple locations including: Zurich, Wollerau (SZ) and Zug. More information can be found here.

Unless one is living within 30km of the Swiss border when one is abroad, it is necessary to give signatory powers to a person residing within Switzerland and enter them into the commercial register.
